She studied Design at the University of Ulster, Belfast and holds a postgraduate certificate from St Martins College, Lancaster.

Marie-Claire’s artistic journey is deeply rooted in her passion for capturing the essence of her subjects through a unique blend of realism and emotional depth. Her use of acrylic paints on canvas brings to life the dynamic and often dramatic atmospheres of her chosen themes, whether it’s the iconic landmarks of Belfast or the wildlife she portrays.

Her works have garnered praise for their meticulous detail and the evocative use of colour and light. Testimonials from satisfied clients highlight the emotional impact and the high quality of her pieces, often describing them as cherished additions to their homes or perfect gifts that capture precious memories​. Most recently, Marie-Claire has completed commissions for clients depicting the Ulster Rugby Squad, as well as a series of commissions for the Northern Ireland Football Association. The artwork was presented on the pitch to Steven Davis and Jonny Evans at Windsor Park at a home game, in front of 20,000 fans, a moment that underscored her rising profile as a chronicler of Northern Irish pride and place.

In November 2024, Marie-Claire opened a gallery at 5 William Street South, in the heart of Belfast city centre, where her original paintings and prints are now exhibited year-round. Known for her evocative and atmospheric depictions of Northern Ireland’s landmarks, coastline, and cultural icons, her work continues to strike a chord with collectors and art lovers alike.
